HTS SMARTest

HTS SMARTest App is a technology solution that supports HIV Testing services.

The SMARTest system is a mobile and web-based technology solution that supports HIV Testing services in line with the CDC target of achieving the first 95 of the 95/95/95 goal.
The application has the capability of collecting data offline and synchronizing at a later time when connected to the internet. The solution can integrate with existing systems and applications such that there is a rich information exchange, and one from a single view can gain a holistic overview of the data.
The goal of the HTS program is to ensure that 95% of people living with HIV know their status.
This will be done by testing the following:
1. Targeted testing of the venerable population (KPs) and high-yield locations like (KPs, FSWs, MSMs, etc).
2. Testing of all clients linked to the index (Biological and Sexual) – Index Testing.
3. Recency testing of all newly identified cases to identify true recent infections – Recency Testing
4. Community and facility-based testing approach
5. Self-testing
6. Identification of positives and successful linkage to ART care - Linkage
