Help improve your CMS app!
Sfara Quest is a way to improve Sfara’s life saving technology for users. It will only be activated for users that have the Companion Mobile Safety (CMS) from Sfara app running on their phones in parallel and subscribers who will allow their data collection to be used for improving the Sfara main product.
Sfara Quest is a data collection and labeling tool for Sfara’s customers and end users, to help design and train algorithms that are in turn used to improve the detections of Sfara’s main product line. By collecting this data, we’re creating better and more precise features that in turn keep the Sfara customers and users safer. And our customers are helping with it, fully understanding and consenting what they are doing. Compared to other apps who collect information on users without the users being aware of it.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Sfara Quest is offered only for companies, NGO’s and Clubs who allow data collection through their employees/volunteers in return for a discount on the Companion Mobile Safety app from Sfara.
WHERE IS THE DATA STORED AND DOES IT CONTAIN PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Sensor data and location information is gathered from the user’s phone and stored in the cloud as logfiles. The logs are associated with a user ID. These logs do not contain any Personal Identifying Information other than location data, and can only be linked back to a user through a User ID.
Therefore data will only be collected with already existing full consent of the CMS users and only used for specific defined tasks. Data collection only occurs when the user explicitly starts a task, and ends when the task is complete or the user cancels the task.
