Our Founder’s Journey

Our founder, Raghu, has always been driven by empathy and determination. While working at IBM’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Tokyo, he faced a tough choice: a promising career in the United States or staying close to his ageing parents in India. Fate stepped in, and he found an opportunity back home in India, which led him to realise the challenges seniors and their caregivers face.

When Raghu’s parents needed care, he saw first-hand the lack of support for ageing individuals in India. This experience inspired him to take action. After a stint at CISCO, he decided to focus on creating solutions for seniors rather than climbing the corporate ladder. In 2015, Raghu founded EldersIndia, a platform that addresses the diverse needs of seniors, from healthcare and financial security to social interaction and recreation.
