Truecalia is an application that allows you to buy cheap train and AVE tickets in Spain (with discounts of up to 85%). It also helps to recover the money from a ticket, if in the end you are not going to be able to use it you can sell it and get your money back.
Another option is to sign up or create and configure AVE tables and thus get the discount of up to 60% that some companies offer (by combining 4 people who share an AVE table, 60% is discounted on the price of each ticket).
With truecalia you can also create free alerts that will notify you when someone offers a ticket that interests you for sale.
