App Description
Filter and find your type near you.
Save Time:
No need to swipe between each users profile. You can see a list of all the users who match your filters in your area. The best part is that the filtering system already worked through the main things you wanted to find.
Get what you give:
You can only use filters that you've already defined in your own profile. Even more, you can only see as much on other peoples profiles as you can on your own. For example, if you want to use the Body Type filter, you have to first define your own body type; you won't even be able to see it on other profiles until you do.
For pictures, you can only see as many pictures from other users as you've added onto your own profile as well.
Events:
Types is all about helping people connect in person. Anyone can create an event on Types, but it's not your usual event app. You can use reverse filters to create in person events and make it so that only your select demographic can ever see that event. For example, if you want to meet new people in your town but want them to be around your age, you can create an event that only allows certain age groups to see it. All of the filters used by regular user search are available to be used by filters as long as you've defined those properties in your own profile first.
Additionally, events can be created anonymously so that no one knows that you've created it. This is helpful if you want to create an event but feel shy if people know who created it and if anyone will show up. You can adjust the attendee visibility threshold so that the entire list of attendees only appears after a certain threshold. This means that if you set the threshold to 5, only once 5 attendees join the event can the list of attendees (you included) are visible to everyone else who has joined.
Insanity Journals:
Looking for something a little deeper? Insanity Journals are stories that people can share over a wide range of topics. The journals you see are local only. You learn a lot from someone by how they write. Find funny, philosophical, and other insane stories people share. Create a journal with your profile attached or anonymously! Only the author can see who liked their journal.
Business Mode:
Create local business opportunities for free. Anyone can create a business project. The best part? Types limits application requests. Tired of other job boards letting 500+ applicants apply? On Types, each user can apply to 10 roles, and each role can have at most 10 applicants. This makes things clean. What’s the point of applying to a role with 500 other applicants 😅? Save time and apply early to be one of the first 10 applicants to a role.
Red Cards / Blue Cards:
Once you've received some likes (dating mode) or waves (friends mode), you can check out who it was with Red Cards / Blue Cards. There's a difference here though, the users who likes/waved at you are mixed in at a ratio where about one in three users shown have already sent a like/wave at you . This keeps things more private and more interesting since you'll never know exactly who it was until you like/wave at them back.
Last to match messages first:
Seems like a simple rule. The last person to like/wave at someone has to message them first. The other user won't even be able to message or see that other users interaction until a message has been sent.
