Netizen Report Application on BMKG Weather and Disasters

Netizen Reports on Weather and Disasters (Badges) BMKG is a social application that works by collecting reports from netizens about weather and disasters in near-real-time and displaying the weather observed by BMKG. Report data is sourced from the Lencana application and from Twitter social media which is compiled and analyzed using Artificial Intelligent (AI) with the Natural Language Processing (NLP) method.

You can report and find out the weather conditions in the surrounding area and share it to various social media channels. See the web view at https://lencana.bmkg.go.id/

1. Weather Report Feature
Features to report the weather wherever you are. With weather conditions Sunny, Cloudy, Light Rain, Rain, Heavy Rain. You can also attach photos at the time of the incident to provide a visual overview through the app.

2. Earthquake Report Features
A feature to report the current felt earthquake condition. With earthquake report options, namely Not Felt, Felt, Minor Damage, Moderate Damage, and Heavy Damage.

3. Report Flood Feature
Features to report the condition of the flood height. With flood report options, namely Feet Height, Knee Height, Thigh High, Body Height, and Head Height.

4. View Report on Map Feature
The view report feature on the map, you can view reports related to weather and disasters from people in various areas throughout the location. The data for this report is sourced from application users and data from the BMKG.

5. Timeline Features
This feature is useful for viewing reports related to weather and disasters from users. Displayed in the form of a timeline list.

6. Report Details
This feature is useful for viewing detailed weather-related reports and disasters reported by users. Users can view more complete information, such as inputted reports and supporting photos sent by users.
