App Description
Droom is where vehicle ownership meets intelligence, scale & everyday relevance.
We’ve evolved from being a once-in-six-years transaction platform (used car buying/selling) into an everyday app that touches the customer up to 90 times over six years, unlocking over $5,000 in revenue per user every six years —compared to just $450–$1,000 before.
This shift not only increases engagement and monetization but also solves the inherent limitations of used automobile E-Commerce in India, which has seen just 0.4% online penetration after 10 years—far below the 10% we initially projected in 2014.
The Super App Now Offers:
1. Rental: Tech-first, short-term, driver-driven rentals with focus on EVs and premium experience ($16.5B TAM vs $6.5B for on-demand ride-hailing).
2. Buy & Sell: End-to-end E-Commerce + listings, seller/buyer/closing services—removing friction and increasing TAM.
3. Droom EV: Zero emission distribution online, enabling buying and selling of pre-owned EVs, battery management, insurance, loans, maintenance, and recycling.
4. Loan & Insurance: Seamless financing and coverage options.
5. Care: Full vehicle lifecycle support, including inspections, warranties, repairs, Fastag, challans, RC transfers, detailing, and even driver-on-demand.
6. MyDroom (AI-Powered Predictive Planning Tools): Our proprietary AI engine leverages petabytes of data from a decade of operations to deliver predictive insights—from vehicle health and repair forecasts to insurance renewals and smart mobility planning.
7. Research: A data-backed research layer offering market trends, pricing intelligence, ownership insights, and decision frameworks for consumers, enterprises, and ecosystem partners.
Droom is no longer just a used car marketplace. We’re a tech-and AI-driven mobility ecosystem—digitally managing the entire lifecycle of every vehicle in the country.
We are currently at $600mil GMV and $30mil annual run rate of revenue, but will likely end up at $50mil in the next six months due to two possible acquisitions we are closing. The company has over 20 tech and AI products and 13 US patents. We plan to file our IPO by the the end of next year in India with a target valuation of $1.5bn.
