A platform for spreading awareness about new initiatives, policies and schemes

• JAN SAMPARK Application is a digital platform to leverage the power of social
media for spreading awareness about new initiatives, policies and schemes
• The application connects Indian Railways (IR) officials and staff, through this
single platform to participate in various awareness campaigns
• The Apex Management of IR, including Office of the Hon'ble Minister of
Railways, may initiate any content (Video, Document or Text Message) to spread
awareness for
• The registered users of this Application viz. State Nodal Officers, District Nodal
Officers, Zonal Nodal Officers and Divisional Nodal Officers along with station
level staff are the recipients of this content and are the actual source of
spreading awareness through their registered social media channels
• Wider the source of information dissemination, wider is the Public Awareness !
Through this application, Indian Railways targets to connect to general public at large and establishing a "JAN SAMPARK"


• Sign-In with your credentials
SUPER USER DASHBOARD
• The dashboard presents various statistics and options to manage and
coordinate the contents
• User Management: Facilitates adding new users to communicate. The screen
requires basic personal information of the new user, Scope or territorial position
and category (Railway/Media Influencer). On successful user creation, System
generated user id and password is communicated to newly registered user
through SMS and Email. The super user of the application has privilege to create
and update user(s) of any level across the Indian Railways network.
• Upload Content: This feature enables the user to upload any content viz.
Document (PDF, Excel, Docx formats), Video (Mp4 format), Image (Jpg, Png
formats) and plain text The content may be published to selective set of users
and social media channels or to all, through the same interface.
• Inbox: This view of the dashboard presents lists of contents (Videos, Images,
Documents, and plain text) uploaded by users registered in JAN SAMPARK App.
Contents could be downloaded for analysis
• Outbox: This view presents the lists of all the contents uploaded by this logged
in user of the view.
• About JAN SAMPARK: Presents a brief overview of purpose of this application.
• Contact Us: Though the application has been developed with best practices and
standards, followed by an intensive testing, yet this option provides you detail
of officials to contact, in case of any operating or technical issues arising during
usage of the application.
• Change Password: In view of the security aspects, we recommend you changing
your passwords at regular intervals. This option enables the users to exercise
these precautionary measures.
• Logout: When application is not in use, we recommend users to logout from
their accounts.
NODAL OFFICER DASHBOARD
• Any nodal officer viz. State Nodal Officer, District Nodal Officer,
Zone Nodal Officer, or Division Nodal Officer shall log in with
his/her credential and get a host of features through a
personalised JAN-SAMPARK dashboard.
• Each nodal officer through his JAN SAMPARK dashboard is
supposed to update his/her social media profile viz. presence in
major social media platforms i.e. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter,
and Instagram.
• The nodal officers get the facility to create new users for all the
stations lying in their jurisdiction.
• The dashboard also offers a facility to upload/propose any
content (video, image, document or plain text) to be considered
by Apex Railway Management i.e. Super user for further
circulation.
• Inbox of the Nodal Officer’s dashboard lists all the contents
uploaded by Super user for circulation through social media
channels.
• Outbox of the Nodal Officer’s dashboard lists all the contents
proposed by this logged in user for consideration by Super user
of the application.
USER DASHBOARD (FOR STATION USERS)
• All the registered station users shall get access to their own
personalised dashboard with host of features
