App Description

If there are road disruptions due to winter snowfall or other reasons on national highways and expressways in the three Hokuriku prefectures (Niigata, Toyama, and Ishikawa), you will be notified by push notification.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Hokuriku Regional Development Bureau's Takada River and National Highway Office, Nagaoka National Highway Office, Niigata National Highway Office, Uetsu River and National Highway Office, Toyama River and National Highway Office, and Kanazawa River and National Highway Office will be implementing a new method of providing information via "push notifications" to smartphones in the event of road disruptions due to unusual winter snowfall or other reasons on National Highways 7, 8, 17, 18, 41, 49, 113, 116, 156, 157, 159, 160, 249, the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway, Hokuriku Expressway, Kan'etsu Expressway, Joshin'etsu Expressway, Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway, Noetsu Expressway, Ban'etsu Expressway, and Noto Satoyama Kaido.

November 20, 2025 - March 31, 2026

■ Information Distribution
Information will be sent via push notification when the following events occur:
① Road closures and reopenings on National Route 7, National Route 8, National Route 17, National Route 18, National Route 41, National Route 49, National Route 113, National Route 116, National Route 156, National Route 157, National Route 159, National Route 160, or National Route 249
② The occurrence of disabled vehicles and reopenings on National Route 7, National Route 8, National Route 17, National Route 18, National Route 41, National Route 49, National Route 113, National Route 116, National Route 156, National Route 157, National Route 159, National Route 160, or National Route 249 and lifting of road closures
③ Implementation and lifting of chain restrictions on National Route 7
④ Implementation and lifting of instructions for large vehicles to use chains on National Routes 7, 8, 17, 18, 41, 49, and 116
⑤ Implementation and lifting of road closures on the Japan Sea Tohoku Expressway, Hokuriku Expressway, Kan'etsu Expressway, Joshin'etsu Expressway, Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway, Noetsu Expressway, Ban'etsu Expressway, and Noto Satoyama Kaido
⑥ Implementation and lifting of road closures on the Japan Sea Tohoku Expressway (Arakawa Tainai IC to Asahi Mahoroba IC) Occurrence and resolution of disabled vehicles
⑦ Implementation and lifting of chain restrictions on the Joshinetsu Expressway
⑧ Implementation and lifting of chain installation guidance for large vehicles on the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway, Hokuriku Expressway, Kanetsu Expressway, Joshinetsu Expressway, or Noetsu Expressway
