The Price Survey Application is an internal mobile application developed for field officers of the
Consumer Affairs Department to digitally collect and manage price data across St. Kitts and Nevis.
The app replaces manual, paper-based price collection with a secure, real-time digital system, improving
efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in market monitoring.
Key features include:
 Digital collection of prices for various commodities across multiple retail outlets
 Assignment of prices to the correct commodities and stores within the app
 Real-time recording and secure digital storage of collected data
 Submission of price data for review and verification
 Streamlined workflow from field collection to approval
Once prices are reviewed and verified, the data is published and made live on the Consumer Affairs
Department Website and the SKN Smart Shopper App, ensuring the public has access to accurate and
up-to-date price information.
