Praise be to Allah, who sent down the Book to His servant and made it free of any crookedness. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
The most honorable way to fill one's time is to engage in the Book of Allah and pay attention to it by memorizing, reciting, contemplating, learning, teaching, and writing it. Allah, the Almighty, has undertaken to protect it from distortion and alteration until the Day of Judgment. He, the Almighty, said: {Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian.} [Al-Hijr: 9] Allah's promise to protect it has been fulfilled since the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when Gabriel, peace be upon him, would review the Qur'an with him in Ramadan. Then the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, memorized it after him, and passed it on from generation to generation, and it remained. Memorizing the Quran has been a constant in every era. One of the greatest aids to memorizing the Holy Quran is knowing its similarities, differences, and strange aspects. This is something Libyan sheikhs have strived to achieve, passing it down from generation to generation in their books and tablets. The term "tanzil" has become popular among them, meaning placing a number above a word or verse written on a tablet or notebook to distinguish it as a strange word or verse that has never been found anywhere else, or as a unique and distinct form of it, or as a repetition of it in two places, with no third, or something similar.
This new application, which we have chosen to name "Tanzila," is an attempt to combine authenticity and modernity, and a digital embodiment of the blessed efforts of scholars, memorizers, and students whom God has honored to serve His Book. This is to ensure that guidance remains unbroken and light continues in the age of technology, just as it was in the era of codification. We have strived to make the Tanzeela app simple and easy to use. Any user can access the desired download by searching directly in the search box at the top of the app interface, by selecting the download number and then navigating between the downloads shared by that number, or by browsing the chapters of the Holy Quran and navigating between the downloads. We found it necessary to use a digital Quran with the narration of Imam Qalun on the authority of Nafi' al-Madani, written by Abu Amr Uthman ibn Sa'id al-Dani, the standard for Libyan Qurans. Therefore, we relied on the digital Quran issued by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Medina, with the narration of Qalun on the authority of Nafi' al-Madani. Therefore, the user will notice some differences in the Quranic script of the verses used in the app. We hope that our fellow readers and memorizers who have found a comment or error in the content of this application, or have a download not included in it, will provide it to us and contact us through the social media accounts included in this application.
