The Tick bite app of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).
Are you or your children regularly "in green"? Do you know when ticks are active and how to remove a tick? How do sign there already? In these and many other questions, the app "Tick bite" answers.
The app includes the following components:
• The tick: What does a tick looks like and what is its habitat?
• Lyme Disease: Brief explanation of Lyme disease and its symptoms.
• Check: Instructions how to check yourself for ticks and when to do it.
• Delete: How do you remove a tick? Watch the movie.
• Character Radar: See the current drawing activity in the Netherlands.
• Character Alert: Receive a message when the activity changes sign.
• Tick recognize: Compare a homemade photo of a possible tick with pictures of sign.
• Character Diary: Write down your tick bite, including photos.
The information in this app is based on the information campaign on ticks and Lyme from the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and is supported by various (natural) organizations.
