The CommCare Reminders Application is a simple Android application that can integrate with CommCare to send users reminder notifications for future tasks. The CommCare Reminders Application works by periodically fetching "commcare-reminder" cases from the associated CommCare application. These cases are used to populate a list of reminders within the CommCare Reminders Application. The CommCare Reminders Application lists all of the reminders from CommCare and notifies the user of the same through a push notification.

The description below describes the mobile user workflow for sending a reminder push notification for a particular task:
> The CommCare application creates cases with specific case type “commcare-reminder”
> The CommCare Reminders Application scans for any cases with the case type “commcare-reminder” on a case creation event
> The CommCare Reminders Application takes data from the “commcare-reminder” case and adds it to the list of reminders
> The user receives push notifications from the CommCare Reminders Application with the reminders
