If you act as a Trustee or Observer on election day or referendum, this application is for you.

What is the application for:
The Shop steward application allows you to send materials containing the recorded course of activities from electoral and referendum commissions to the Minister of Digitization.
Material from the election and/or referendum may include, for example, photos, audio recordings, video recordings.
Materials from the course of elections and/or referendums submitted to the Minister of Digitization may be transferred to authorized bodies conducting proceedings related to the course of elections or referendums (including courts, law enforcement agencies) at their request.

The publisher of the application is the Ministry of Digitization.

Who can use the application:
1. representatives of the trustees registered in the Trustees' Database by the representatives of the electoral committees
2. shop stewards and deputy shop stewards, registered in the Shop Stewards Database by representatives of entities conducting the referendum campaign
3. election observers registered by authorized entities (observers are not required to register in the Trustees' Database)

Where will you run the application:
The application is adapted to be used only in smartphones with Android version min. 10.0 and iOS version min. 15.7.7, but is not available for tablets.
The application is only available in Poland.

How to use the application:
1. Accept the regulations and terms of use
2. Log in using login.gov.pl
3. Select your role during the event
4. Read the clauses and disclosures
5. Select the material you want to send
6. Search and select the electoral commission where you registered your material
7. Add additional information if necessary (optional)
8. Accept by clicking Send, do not close the application, just minimize it
9. The application will start uploading material in the background if there is an Internet connection from the phone

Remember that you must use your own internet data package to send the material - the electoral commission or the Minister of Digitization are not obliged to provide you with a dedicated connection for sending materials, or to reimburse additional costs that you incur when sending large amounts of materials.

Links to other services:
The application is related to the Trust Men's Database service run by the Minister of Digitization (https://bazamezowzaufania.gov.pl).
After installing the application on his phone, the shop steward / deputy shop steward will be able to send the material from the election and/or referendum recorded at the polling station to the Minister of Digital Affairs after the application automatically checks that he is in the Trustees Database.

Legal information:
1. The application was developed and published on the basis of the Act of January 26, 2023 amending the Electoral Code and certain other acts (Journal of Laws No. 497).
2. The application allows you to perform the activities referred to in Art. 42 § 6a section 1 of the Act of January 5, 2011 - Electoral Code - Electoral Code (Journal of Laws of 2022, items 1277 and 2418 and of 2023, item 497).
3. Authorization for the Minister of Digitization to process personal data in the form of images of people visible in the material pursuant to Art. 42 § 6c of the Act of January 5, 2011 - Electoral Code (Journal of Laws of 2022, items 1277 and 2418 and of 2023, item 497).
