App Description

Words On Lines is an exciting tool for Occupational Therapists, Education Specialists, Teachers and Parents who want to practice visual discrimination skills for functional writing tasks. Helpful in distinguishing whether a student is having visual discrimination or motor function issues when writing, this game offers a fun alternative to a full assessment by providing real time feedback for placement of words on lines. Tested by Occupational Therapists in general and special educational settings, this app allows the user to practice visual discrimination skills and advance in the game by increasing discrimination challenge with fewer lines and more word choices. Designed for children who are learning correct letter placement for legibility purposes, this app populates reinforcing farm animation as students are successful. Both the setup page and results page are designed to precisely focus on areas of suspected need with precise data to measure gains.

For privacy purposes, Words On Lines does not save results data or allow exporting of results data; screenshots are encouraged for record keeping.
