App Description
Buy and sell jewelry via the Fortuna Jewelry Auction app. Based in New York City, Fortuna specializes in diamond, estate, signed, and antique jewelry of all eras. Fortuna’s auctions are a platform for jewelry collectors and members of the trade to securely buy and sell jewelry on an international scale. Anyone can sell, and anyone can bid.
We hold 4-6 auctions annually featuring a variety of signed jewelry, antique jewelry, watches, and objet d’art. Discover beautiful and rare jewels from famous brands such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Bulgari, Hermes, Van Cleef & Arpels, David Webb, Rolex, and more. Each auction reaches thousands of bidders through our various auction channels.
FREE VALUATIONS/ SELLING
Fortuna is the only fine jewelry auction that charges no seller’s premium, no catalog fees, photography fees, marketing fees, or unsold lot fees. That means sellers run no risk, yet enjoy 100% of the price their jewelry hammers for.
To consign jewelry for auction, upload photos of your jewelry via the app for a free valuation. The photos are stored to our secure database, and our staff will contact you within 48 hours with an estimate of what your jewelry might earn on the auction market. The valuation is free and there is no obligation to consign or sell with us.
If you wish to consign, we will discuss the reserve prices you wish to set, and you will sign a seller’s agreement. We will then arrange the jewelry to be shipped to our offices. All items are insured in our secure premises. Following the successful sale and collection for your items, Fortuna will issue you a check for your total hammer price.
BIDDING AND BUYINGnTo buy, join our auctions live via the app (available on mobile or tablet), or call us to bid over the phone or place absentee bids. Sort and filter the lots by type, stone, metal, or era to easily find what you want to buy. Share lots via text or email for a quick second opinion.
Each piece is photographed from different angles and on a jewelry form. It is the responsibility of the bidder to request additional photos or to view the piece in person before bidding.
If you prefer to buy in person, we offer discreet private sales from our office in New York City. Please call 212-389-9040 to inquire.
