Mandalay FM is format radio station which is launched in 2008. The radio station broadcasts from Yangon and it reaches 90 miles perimeter of Mandalay, 30 miles perimeter of Taunggu, 60 miles perimeter of Yangon with 87.9 MHz and 30 miles perimeter of Nay Pyi Daw with 88.3 MHz. It is dedicated for audiences from 25 to 50 years of age and covers around 10 millions of population. Mandalay FM is one of the top FMs in Myanmar. The people from Urban areas are the strong listeners of Mandalay FM.

Mandalay FM changed its profile in 2013 May to live broadcasting system with live radio show contents. Before 2013, Mandalay FM is broadcasted pre recorded music based programs like other FMs in Myanmar. In 2013, Mandalay FM made history of very first live radio show and very first traffic report announcement in Myanmar. The listenership increased because of friendly live radio show contents and traffic report. And Audience Participation contents are also very successful programs of Mandalay FM.
