Beat your opponent by being first to empty your hand.
- The player dealt the 3 of Diamonds plays first.
- Each play must beat the previous one — same shape, higher rank. Plays: single card, pair, triple or 5-card poker hand (straight, flush, full house, four-of-a-kind, straight flush).
- Pass if you can't or don't want to beat the play.
- Card rank low to high: 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K A 2. Suit order low to high: Diamonds, Clubs, Hearts, Spades. The 2 of Spades is the highest card — not the Ace.
- Cards remaining in the loser's hand multiply the wager — finish empty for full payout.
