App Description

ASSIC Resting heart rate(HR) allows for the measure of baseline heart rate required for the body to maintain efficient blood delivery to the organs in a steady resting state to maintain well being (homeostasis).

HR will fluctuate depending on the body’s needs to maintain efficient blood and oxygen delivery to meet the necessary body requirements.

Blood delivery to supply the body’s demands is dependent on the volume of blood ejected by the heart (stroke volume) and the rate of delivery which is dependent on the HR (number of heart beats per minute).

By increasing the blood volume (stroke volume) and/or increasing the HR, the delivery of blood and oxygen to the body organs is increased to meet any increasing demands.
