App Description

Bit Secret uses state of the art encryption so that no matter who intercepts your message along the way, there is no way they will be able to read it. So you can send it however you want. SMS, email, print and scan it, you can train a pigeon to deliver it, you can even publish it in a magazine as a QR Code… and only the contact you sent it to will ever be able to read it.

Better than that, they will know with certainty that the message not only came from you, but that it was encrypted exclusively for them. Nobody can fake one. Nobody can tamper with or modify one along the way. They can be certain that the message they just received was exactly what you sent.

So whether you’re a couple of high school friends who just want to be able to talk privately about whatever it is you talk privately about. Or if you’re working in a closed country and you don’t want that government snooping on your emails. Whether you just want some privacy, or your safety depends on it… You can be sure that if your contact still has control of their device, then only they could have sent the message, and only you can read it.

Keys come in pairs. One part is top secret and is embedded in the hardware of your device in a way that not even the manufacturer can ever extract it. The other part is safe to share in public. That’s the bit you send to your contact. And they send you the public part of their key.
These keys are so sophisticated that by using a combination of your keys and theirs, we can be sure that nobody else could guess that key, (without a super computer and a several years)… but both of you will be able to use those keys to tell whether a message you receive genuinely came from your contact or not.

We want you to have total peace of mind.
So we don’t run servers that could record your messages, or have any backdoor way to read them. We don’t know who your contacts are, that’s all stored only on your device.
So you don’t have to worry about us snooping or building social media style relationship diagrams to work out who you are.
By letting you choose the mechanism for sending the message we’re cutting ourselves out of the loop and giving control and peace of mind back to you.

We’ve lost a lot of our privacy on the internet. Get Bit Secret and put your privacy back where it belongs… with you.
