App Description

GPS Speedometer is a free and handy app that turns your device into a fully functional Speedometer. It works by using your device's GPS radio and calculates your speed based on time and distance traveled. The app updates in real time, supports Imperial and Metric units, shows your current direction like a compass, displays your total distance traveled, stores your top speed, and shows your current location on the map. It even allows you to share your top speed over various social networks for bragging purposes. Just don't go over the speed limit...

Usage is simple. Toggle between MPH and KPH from the main menu. There is also a menu option to reset your top speed and distance traveled (odometer). Tapping on your top speed will open a menu that will allow you to share your top speed via various social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, or messaging.

Please leave comments or send me e-mail on what new features you would like added! This app is for you.

If you experience issues, please let me know and I will try to address them. The app requires location and internet permissions for obvious reasons (finding you on the GPS and showing you a map).
