App Description

Each person’s Parkinson’s disease symptoms are different. The more you and your care team know, the more personalized your care.

The APDA Symptom Tracker app helps you keep track of your symptoms – including tremors, rigidity, balance and non-motor symptoms, and create a report to share with your care team or save to your library. With this information you can then consult with your doctor for more personalized resources and support. In addition, the latest update to the APDA Symptom Tracker App boasts the following new features. An interactive medication tracker where you can enter the specific medications/doses and the time of day you take them which helps identify opportunities for better symptom management such as medication dosage/timing, which is an incredibly specific and often tricky aspect of life with PD. You can now view this app completely in Spanish. The Spanish version has been fully created for and by Spanish-speaking people (not simply translated from the English version). A more comprehensive user profile which includes the opportunity to share your top PD challenges so APDA can develop programs and services to better meet the needs of the PD community. Helpful notifications and reminders including, reminders to enter your medications and symptoms into the app regularly, push notifications about helpful education programs and updates on treatments reminders to prepare information to share with your clinician prior to your appointments.

Over time, your reports generated in the app can assist your healthcare team to better understand prevalence of your PD symptoms.
