App Description
Skyguide, the air navigation service provider of Switzerland, is responsible for providing the approvals for drones wishing to operate in the airspace in which the Air Traffic Control (ATC) approval is required. This mobile app allows the drone operator to determine whether or not their operation is subject to ATC approval, and to seek the approval from skyguide.
The skyguide U-Space mobile app provides some additional features that allow the drone operator to:
- Get an overview of some key restrictions and constraints on drone operations (general and location specific) by searching the desired location in the map view and setting the desired timeframe
- Create and manage the profile of the pilot and of the drone
- Plan the drone operations in time and space, by setting specific date, time, duration, as well as intended airspace in terms of trajectory or area and the height above terrain.
- View live network remote ID information where available
