In addition, the app provides links to instructional videos from the PleurX website, the contact number to PleurX Patient Navigators.. The app has optional fields for users to record pain levels, input drainage details and upload photos of the catheter site or drained fluid. Users can set a drainage schedule with reminders and pleural patients are notified to contact their physician when they have drained 50 mL or less 3 times per the IFU.
