Hospital campuses can be confusing, so the Mount Sinai Health System is happy to offer a wayfinding application as your personal navigator. The Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Morningside locations can be navigated through the app. You can search for your destination by department, office, or doctors’ practice. Once you arrive at the hospital, you may choose start and end points and receive turn-by-turn directions down to a few feet.
At the Mount Sinai Hospital location, the application offers blue dot navigation. If you are visiting this hospital, you will see real-time indoor positioning on the app’s map to assist you on your visit there. As you progress, your location updates with the assistance of your device’s Bluetooth technology. Mount Sinai Morningside will soon offer this service as well.
