Currently, the Useful Units Recipe Converter recognizes the following units with most of their common abbreviations:
* Units of Volume: Liters (as well as deciliters, centiliters and milliliters), tablespoons, teaspoons; drops, pinches and dashes as well as sticks (for all things buttery). Furthermore US and Imperial fluid ounces, gills, cups, pints, quarts and gallons.
* Units of Weight: Kilograms (as well as grams and milligrams), pounds, slugs and ounces.
