The Accessible Pharmacy App
Accessible Pharmacy is a home delivery pharmacy specializing in services for the blind and low vision community and their families. We were founded by blind and sighted experts in the areas of accessibility, technology, and medicine.

What makes us unique is our ability to educate blind patients, their doctors, their caretakers, and their families about the best medication plan. Our goal is to achieve the best medical outcomes as well as to help patients become more independent.

The Accessible Pharmacy App is an ultra-simplified Optical Character Recognition (OCR) app designed specifically for people who cannot see to empower them to have the contents of prescription medication packages read out loud to them. Only the necessary features, such as text or QR codes, are read in order to minimize complications for those who cannot see the screen. The app is also HIPPA compliant and all medication and healthcare information resides exclusively on the phone and is not shared with any other parties or systems.
