The online card game «Belka» (Squirrel) is one of the most popular games in the northern part of Kazakhstan.

Rules of the game:

One game consists of one distribution of cards and eight draws.
The value of cards in points: ace - 11 points, 10 - 10 points, king - 4 points, queen - 3 points, jack - 2 points, 7, 8, 9 - are worthless.
The total number of points of all cards is 120. The number of points in a game and the number of points in each distribution (draw) is different. Jacks are always trump cards of their seniority: jack of clubs, jack of spades, jack of hearts, jack of diamonds.

The first dealer is determined by lot or otherwise.
In the next set, the next player deals clockwise or counterclockwise (at the discretion of the players) after the first dealer.
The deck is carefully shuffled, removed by the player to the left of the dealer, and each player is dealt 8 cards, two cards at a time counterclockwise.
When dealing cards in the first set, the trump suit is always clubs.

In the following games, the trump suit is determined as follows: after the first game is played, the player who had the jack of clubs card is determined and remembered, and this player is assigned the suit of clubs, the player on the right is assigned the suit of hearts, the player opposite is assigned the suit of spades and the player who is sitting on the left, the suit of diamonds is assigned. In the following games, when distributing cards, the player who receives the jack of clubs must inform the other players about this and the trump suit is determined by the suit assigned to him in the first game. The first move in the game belongs to the player to the left or right (at the discretion of the players) of the dealer. This player's card determines the suit of this draw.
