Welcome to Plingo: a rich and immersive educational experience! This application has been carefully crafted by language learning experts, especially (but not only) for those learning English as a second language (ESL).

Plingo contains several ‘mini-games’ designed to be engaging and instructive. Players will learn the following:
- Listening - Most of the mini-games provide spoken challenges and feedback with a wide range of characters. Players' ears will quickly get used to recognizing words, grammatical constructs, and the general “feel” of English.
- Speaking - That’s right, in some mini-games players control the action by speaking, starting with simple individual words and, over time, entire sentences! Our cutting-edge, industry-leading speech recognition has been rigorously tested with players from almost every country, mother-tongue, and dialect, and has over 99% accuracy in our controlled, pre-launch testing.
- Vocabulary - With over 3000+ words and phrases, with new ones added every week, players effortlessly build a strong vocabulary in no time!
- Reading - Most of the mini-games offer both reading and listening, allowing players to get comfortable with each skill!
- Pronunciation (coming soon) - Players will systematically learn all 44 phonemes of English (the fundamental sounds of the language). They will deconstruct words they hear, assemble words from their basic phonemes, and learn how to correctly pronounce the phonemes before they develop an unnatural accent they may never be able to get rid of.
