The app is an on-demand training, education, and orientation tool for new civilian employees of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps. It provides general information about the Navy and the Marines, including organizational structure, operations, uniformed and civilian personnel, history, and heritage.
The DON AP app also provides definitions of lingo and abbreviations, as well as useful information on Fleet Orientation Days, protocol matters, and other topics.
