App Description
Originally, the word "diet" comes from the Greek word "diaita", which means "way of living".
Sounds like our concept of a "diet" meaning a restrictive program is pretty far off the original meaning, right?

Instead, Way is an intuitive eating app, that helps you listen to your body and align your way of living and eating to your values.
Grounded in intuitive eating and mindfulness within the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) framework, Way has 2-8 minute sessions within three Pathways: Mindful Shifts, Emotional Eats, and Body Feels. The objective of each Pathway is:
Mindful Shifts - To unlearn the "perfect" body image that's perpetuated by diet culture, and reframe a new body image that's based on your values. We find consistently that body image is the most common trigger to the restrict-binge eating cycle (which is the main reason why restrictive diets fail so often).
Emotional Eats - Emotions Influence eating. Don't "fight" or try to "stop" them, like what the results say when you type "Emotional Eating' into Google. Connect with emotions, understand where they come from, and find more harmony with food.
Body Feels - Your body is talking. Feel it, and learn to listen what it's saying.
These sessions deliver progressive, self-derived learning through three core practices and are sequenced in a specific order, as designed by the best intuitive eating dietitians, top behavior scientists from institutions like Columbia University, Duke University, and the University of California.
