Faronics MDM

The Faronics MDM companion app serves as an extension to our mobile device management (MDM) solution, empowering administrators with a comprehensive tool for device management and security.

This application operates under two modes: Standard and Lite.

The Standard mode, requiring profile enrollment, provides a robust set of features. It aligns with the traditional concept of MDM, delivering a comprehensive suite of device management capabilities that prioritize both security and control.

Our Lite mode is tailored with flexibility and co-existence with existing MDM solutions in mind. It allows administrators to gather essential device information for inventory purposes, monitor device locations, and send messages to devices without mandating full MDM control. The unique aspect of this mode is its ability to work seamlessly alongside existing MDM solutions.

Further to these, the application houses a messaging system that enables the reception of crucial updates directly from the MDM console. This ensures a streamlined communication channel for timely updates and critical alerts.

The Documents feature lets users view resources shared by administrators, ensuring relevant materials are available at their fingertips. Additionally, the Location History feature secures a detailed log of the device’s movements, providing invaluable data for maintaining device security and tracking organizational assets.
