MerkMal is a tool for tracking chronic or pain-related illnesses. With a simple user interface, you can easily add symptoms and track them over time.

Symptoms can be added to each day, and within the day to four different time zones from morning til night. Symptoms can be added with a simple tap, after that the intensity can be changed. The data entry can be deleted joust as easy with another tap on the timezone.

The app includes a calendar feature, allowing you to add older dates and see your symptoms in a visual timeline. The calendar has a color coding depending on the intensity of the symptom ranging from green (no symptom) to red (high intensity). Merkmal also offers multiple statistics, analysing the number of affected days and the intensity of symptoms during a month. And with iCloud syncing, you can access your data from any of your devices.

The color of the user interface can be changed and the app supports dark mode too.

MerkMal was originally created to help with tracking migraines and their side effects, to find triggers and have an overview about how much they affect ones health.
Now the app allows for users to enter any sort of symptoms. This way other illnesses can be tracked as well.

This app uses iCloud to sync between devices. To use Merkmal, iCloud has to be enabled.
