The Qamoos Modern Arabic Dictionary is a bilingual dictionary giving English translations of Modern Standard Arabic words. It contains a rich and media friendly vocabulary, and is ideal for those studying Arabic, or consuming Arabic Media or literature.
● Dictionary
• Search the dictionary in either Arabic or English to find matching entries. When you type in Arabic you will be offered suggestions if no matches are found.
• Root - View the root of any word, and see all the words related to the same root
• Measure - See the measure of any verb (form I, II, III e.t.c.)
• Transliteration - All words in the dictionary show English transliteration
● Browser
• Browse through the dictionary to discover new words
● History
• The history tab records your recently viewed words. Tap any word to show it in the dictionary.
● Saved Words / Roots
• You can save any word by tapping the star button in the top right corner. View and manage them in the 'Saved' tab.
