"ALtR" is a movement of people breaking from the concept of Building-Based Christianity to walk into a model that meets the needs of the next generation. The "ALtR Social" app serves as a kind of virtual "foyer" for a Church without boundaries; one that has the capacity to connect with ALL people, from ALL backgrounds, and ALL personality types.
The "AltR Social" app is not only a social media platform that cuts out the ANTI-social behavior; it is also the home to our ALtR calendar- full of positive opportunities to connect with other people in venues that span the five domains of our everyday lives. While there are many events that can impact the Spiritual Domain of a person's life, there are also plenty of events that touch the Relational Domain, the Health & Wellness Domain, the Financial Domain, and the Personal Development Domain of Life.
By creating such a varied ethos of activity, with every event led by one of our local ALtR Catalysts, we present unlimited entry points for people from all walks of life to simply get in where they fit in.
The "come and see" approach to doing "Church" is an antiquated concept; and through the ALtR movement, we seek to change the very meaning of the word "Church" in the minds of the next generation.
