App Description

This app contains the parayana (chanting) of Tamil verses conducted daily at Sri Ramanasramam, Tiruvannamalai. The parayana are the poetic works of Sri Ramana Maharshi. The recitation of these works at Sri Ramanasramam started in 1920 and continues to the present day at the ashram. For the ease of the devotees, English transliterations of the verses are provided along with the original Tamil verses. Like mantras, these skillfully crafted verses work on the mind of the person in a mysterious and powerful way bestowing understanding and wisdom on the reader.
