This app calculates the unit price by dividing the total price by the quantity.

Unit prices make it easy to compare prices when buying products with different quantities.
For example, when comparing two products with different volumes and prices on a per 100g basis, you can easily see which one is cheaper.

In the case of beer, if 330ml costs 3.0 USD and 450ml costs 5.0 USD, calculating the unit price per 100ml gives you 0.91 USD and 1.11 USD respectively, showing that the 450ml product is actually more expensive.
You can also save your unit price calculations to review them later.
