■What is the golden ratio?
Mathematically, the golden ratio is a constant value in the Fibonacci sequence, which is an infinite sequence of numbers. When each term is the sum of the previous two terms, the ratio of each term divided by the previous term always approaches a constant value, which is sometimes called the golden ratio. The golden ratio is approximately 1.618.
The golden ratio is considered a beautiful ratio found in nature and human-made objects, and is often used in art, architecture, and design. The golden ratio is also sometimes referred to as the golden ratio camera or golden ratio screen, which is constructed so that the ratio of the longest side to the shortest side is 1:0.618.
