The Call Sheet is a brand new film magazine brought to you by Cinema Femme and Camera Ambassador. Led by Cinema Femme’s Managing Editor Rebecca Martin Fagerholm as Editor-in-Chief, the writing staff covers films through personal essays and interviews. Furthermore, Camera Ambassador’s Creative Director Connor Smith spearheads the creative layout as Art Director, ensuring that the magazine is unified through a singular vision and aesthetic. Camera Ambassador's Founder and CEO Erica Duffy heads the business department, streamlining operations and bringing the magazine to life. Through this unique collaboration between two of the city’s prominent femme-led film organizations, this magazine will serve as your guide to today's filmmaking.

FROM THE EDITORS: Aristotle thought of performance as a form of catharsis, or the purging of the humors. We believe that there is truth to this philosophy. In the inaugural issue of THE CALL SHEET, we chose to explore what healing means through the creation of art. It’s been truly such a pleasure working alongside the skillful contributors and artists that poured their hearts into this magazine. Through our collective effort, we hope that you too can see the staggering level of cinematic talent pouring out of our beloved Windy City through our first issue’s theme: Healing Through Art.
