Garage-band Woodstock TV

Most musicians started in the same place — a garage - because most parents didn’t want to listen to what they were playing. But that’s where we learned to play our first songs, where we decided music was going to play a big part in
our lives. Well, back in 2010, a group of guys in Abilene, Texas decided to have a reunion of sorts. A chance to get some of the old bands back together — to see if they could still “bring it”. Needless to say, it was a success. And a dozen years later, it’s still happening once a year - and the crowd continues to grow every year. Usually in the summer, 6/7 bands will come together and play some of the great music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. We now raise money for a local organization called New Horizons, and last year, raised about $35,000.
We don’t have video from every year, but we do have some from many of the events. Here, you can choose to watch each bands performance, or pick and choose songs that you like. We’ll continue to add videos of “garage” bands, and would love to share bands and their music from anywhere in the world.
