A green speed calculator to calculate putting green speeds when using a Stimpmeter/Speedmeter. Designed for both green keepers and golfers.
This app has the following features:
Can be used to calculate green speeds using either a Stimpmeter Classic (any standard Stimpmeter) or Compact (USGA 2X slot can also be used).
Capable of calculating green speeds for both flat and sloping greens. For flat greens a simple averaging method is used, whereas for sloping greens the Brede equation is employed.
Enter up to three Stimpmeter measurements (in mm, cm, inches or feet) in both directions and the calculator will determine the green speed with a qualitative description.
Full instructions on how to use the calculator can be viewed by selecting "instructions" from the menu (the three dots at the top-right of the screen).
Provides advisories for invalid results - i.e. ball distances are too far apart.
Practice Anywhere feature allows golfers to practice their putting from the comfort of their home as if they were practicing at the same green speed of their chosen golf course (all measuring units can be modified).
Dark mode to improve screen readability where required.
Augmented Reality Measuring Tape feature to measure the distance each ball travelled, further reducing the time and effort required to calculate green speeds.
