App Description
Carb Pilot is designed to make it quick and easy to get carbohydrate (carb) counts, without having to look up restaurant nutritional menus or dig through rigid meal databases. Use our AI estimator to enter - in plain language - what you're eating, and get back carb counts (and also fat, protein, and calorie counts, if you choose). You can view your saved estimates in the app, and you can also export your data to HealthKit to be used in other apps or trackers that you already use. Carb Pilot is designed to be easy, getting carb counts in a snap.
PRIVACY PRESERVING
- Carb Pilot sends the meal description to an AI (large language model) for generating the carb and macronutrient counts, but otherwise your data doesn't leave your device. There is no identifying information collected in the app.
EASY TO USE, SAVES YOU CLICKS
- Carb Pilot means you don't have to click and click and click to find what you're eating in a meal app database. Simply use the same language you would use to describe your meal to a friend, and get back the estimated macronutrient counts.
VOICE ENTRY OPTION
- You can use the microphone button - click to start and click when you're done - to tell the system what you're eating. Carb Pilot will grab your transcribed meal description, and you can edit it if needed and send it off to the AI to get your estimates.
TRACK WHAT YOU CARE ABOUT
- You can get estimates for carbs, fat, protein, and calories. Don't want to see anything but carbs? You can disable and hide the counts on previous meals by changing your preferences in the settings menu any time.
CHANGE YOUR MIND
- If you change your mind and want to track another macronutrient, simply turn it back on in settings and your previous saved meals will then display that macronutrient, too.
REPEAT A MEAL
- Eating the same thing again? Swipe on a previous meal entry and select the option to repeat the meal with today's date. Or copy the previous meal's description to the clipboard if you want to slightly tweak it and run it through the estimator again.
BUILD A RECIPE
-Making a recipe and cooking from scratch? Carb Pilot's recipe builder feature allows you to get estimates on each ingredient, adjust them, and then indicate how many portions the recipe makes and how much you're eating now - or save it for future. SHARE A RECIPE OR MEAL
