CAIR-Canara Inward Remittance

This is a secure and convenient way of generating OTP, for Exchange Houses who are having tie
up with Canara bank for initiating and authorizing Foreign Inward remittances through Canara
Bank’s inward remittance application.
CAIR Mobile application Facility shall be available to users who have registered for the facility as
per the discretion of Banks.
Mobile app will enhance certain security features in Canara Bank inward remittances application
to avoid Security breaches at users’ /exchange end for gaining access of our application for
doing any user-triggered unauthorized transaction like 3rd level authorizer for transaction via
mobile OTP.
Please follow these simple registration steps to register for CAIR mobile application:
Login to Canara bank inward remittance application to enable/disable the Mobile app
functionality.
Users can login using the Canara Bank inward remittance application credentials as created by
Canara Bank admin group.
In case of wrong/forgot credentials, same can be reset through Canara bank inward remittance
application admin group on receiving request from user group i.e. Exchange Houses.
Functionality:
Exchange Houses have to use Canara Bank inward remittance application credentials, for logging
into the application. Window for OTP generation will pop up and OTP will be generated that has
to be entered in Canara bank inward remittance application to complete the login process.
Third level authorizer will generate OTP through mobile app in the same way, for authorizing the
transactions.
Same OTP can’t be used for both logging in and authorizing of transactions.
OTP once generated will be valid for 04.00 minutes. Users have to generate the OTP again after
the expiry period.
