The province of Granada holds within a small area an enormous quantity and variety of tourist attractions: the Alhambra, the most visited monument in Spain; one of the best ski resorts in Europe is located in Sierra Nevada; and, barely an hour’s drive away, you can swap the snow for the beaches of the Costa Tropical, which enjoys warm temperatures all year round.
Its diversity – of climates, landscapes, products, and resources – makes the province of Granada a prime tourist destination. The possibilities are numerous at any time of the year: cultural and monumental tourism, rural and active tourism, snow and sports tourism, sun and beach tourism, congress and incentive tourism, health and gastronomic tourism.
