The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts is a member of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) Network of Certified Schools. EHL was founded in 1893 in Lausanne, Switzerland, which is the first and oldest university specializing in hotel management in the world. The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts is a non-profit private Jordanian institution that was founded in 2008 to fulfill the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II of having a culinary school in Jordan operating at the highest international standards and to introduce the Swiss experience of merging practical and hands-on training with academic education.
