FitEat shows how food affects your blood sugar. Over 500 products with glycaemic index and load, carbohydrate and protein-fat exchanges, and full nutrition values — vitamins, minerals, macronutrients.
The app was built with people with diabetes and insulin resistance in mind, but it helps anyone who wants to plan meals consciously.
WHAT’S IN THE APP
- Product database — search by name, filter and sort by GI, GL or calories
- Favourites — save the products you reach for most often
- Shopping list — add products from the database or type your own items
- Own products — add items outside the database and correct existing data
- Barcode scanner — fill in nutrition values by scanning the package
- Knowledge — plain explanations of GI, GL, CE and PFE with no jargon
