App Description

GCSE Psychology helps you revise for GCSE (9–1) Psychology with exam-style questions, key studies, revision notes and mock tests. Choose your exam board when you first open the app: AQA (8182), Edexcel (1PS0) or OCR (J203). Topics, questions and the mock test then follow your course.

It suits students in Year 10 and Year 11, and parents or teachers who want a structured way to revise.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• AQA: 795 exam-style questions across 53 subtopics
• Edexcel: 945 exam-style questions across 63 subtopics, including every option topic
• OCR: 795 exam-style questions across 53 subtopics
• A revision note for every subtopic, with key terms, studies, evaluation points and diagrams
• A full explanation with every question, so you see why the right answer is right
• Flash cards for key terms and key studies
• A Mock Test that draws questions from across your course

THE WHOLE COURSE, IN SIX AREAS
• Memory & cognition: memory, perception, and language, thought and communication
• Development: brain development, Piaget, mindset and learning, and the self (Edexcel)
• Social behaviour: conformity, obedience, bystander behaviour, crowds and criminal psychology
• Brain & biology: the nervous system, neurons and the brain, sleep and dreaming
• Psychological problems: mental health, depression and addiction or schizophrenia
• Research methods: hypotheses, variables, sampling, designs, ethics and data handling

KNOW YOUR KEY STUDIES
For each named study, questions cover the aim, the method, the results, the conclusion and how to evaluate it, and a flash card links the researcher to the main finding. Studies sit inside their own topics, so you learn them alongside the theory they support.

PRACTISE RESEARCH METHODS AND MATHS
Work through means, medians, modes, ranges, percentages, ratios, fractions and significant figures, and read bar charts, line graphs, scatter graphs and histograms drawn from the same data as the answers, the way the exam asks you to.

A note on the format: questions are multiple choice. The app helps you learn terms, studies and research methods, apply them to new scenarios and spot common mistakes. It does not mark extended written answers, so keep practising those on paper too.

FREE TO TRY
On every board one subtopic in each of the six areas is free, with 90 questions and the Mock Test on those questions.
