Functions
• Parking surveillance: When the vehicle is parked with the engine off, the device works in power saving mode and keep connection 4G network, this app can wakeup and living view the surrounding situation anytime from anywhere. If the vehicle is impacted, vibrated or someone approaches it, the surveillance device will automatically start recording to document the surrounding situation, providing evidence for determining liability in accidents, preventing the vehicle from being damaged or stolen, etc. For example, if the vehicle is scratched by another vehicle in the parking lot, the surveillance sentinel can record this process to TF card and upload to cloud, send a notification to mobile app at the same time.
• Driving recording: While the vehicle is in motion, it can continuously record road conditions, traffic signs, as well as the movements of the vehicles and pedestrians in front. Such recordings are helpful for clarifying liability in the event of traffic accidents.
Working principle
• Sensor triggering: The built-in gravity sensor or vibration sensor in the device will send a signal to the surveillance system and trigger the surveillance function to start when it detects that the vehicle's state change exceeds the set threshold.
• Loop recording: Generally, it adopts the loop recording method to store video files. When the memory card is full, it will automatically overwrite the earliest video files to ensure that the device can work continuously. The video triggered by vibration will be marked and never be overridden.
