Spirit Phone Innovations (SPI) is an experimental paranormal research application developed to explore new approaches to Instrumental Trans-Communication (ITC). Conceptualized by paranormal researcher Sean Austin, SPI is designed to analyze environmental audio using artificial intelligence in a way that differs from traditional ITC-style applications.

At the core of SPI is SAM Mode, an experimental feature that analyzes environmental audio in real time and applies AI-based processing to identify and interpret audio patterns that may exist outside of normal human speech ranges.
