Welcome to the world of learning Arabic online! This picture dictionary app teaches the alphabet of the Arabic language and basic Arabic phrases in a fun and interactive way, designed primarily for children but equally useful for adults. Let’s see how it works!

I’m Csaba, a father of two young children from Europe. I wanted my kids to learn a foreign language in a playful way, so I looked for a picture dictionary that worked for both them and me. When I couldn’t find one, I decided to create our own, using my experience in software design and education, together with my wife.

Categories and Phrases:
More than 1,000 Arabic words are organized into 30+ categories, so learners of all ages, from toddlers to older children, can find the right content for their level.

Age Groups:
From simple baby categories to more advanced content, this Arabic language dictionary is helpful for learners aged 2 and up, even into the teenage years.

Pictures:
The method is built on visuals! Whimsical illustrations come to life, smile, or make funny faces, making learning engaging and helping children easily remember Arabic words.

Sounds:
Each phrase comes with native speaker recordings and correct pronunciation, keeping children engaged and making learning more effective.

Playful Arabic Learning:
The app includes an educational module (PixiSchool) and five games that help children learn Arabic while having fun: PixiMemory, PixiQuiz, PixiPair, PixiSay, and PixiWords.

Context:
Every phrase includes a brief description and native-language translation, which can be listened to. This ensures that learning Arabic is both clear and enjoyable.

PixiMemory:
A classic memory game where children match identical pictures. Each correct match triggers the word to be spoken in Arabic, expanding vocabulary while enhancing memory, focus, and language skills.

PixiQuiz:
Children pick the correct picture from four options matching the displayed word. Mistakes? No problem—they can try again. This helps with word recognition and visual association.

PixiPair:
Match colorful cards with their black-and-white counterparts. Successful matches play the phrase in Arabic, improving focus, fine motor skills, and vocabulary.
